Tadapox 80 mg is a product designed for the combined treatment of premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction. It contains the active ingredient tadalafil and the ingredient for premature ejaculation - dapoxetine.

The main advantage of Tadapox 80 mg is the combination of two active ingredients in one tablet. Additionally, Tadapox has an additional advantage compared to other combined preparations - tadalafil-based products are popular, particularly due to their long-lasting effect of up to 36 hours.

Active ingredients

The active ingredient tadalafil (for more information on the active ingredient, see the article on Tadalafil) significantly relaxes the smooth muscle cells, thus promoting blood flow to the penis. It contributes to achieving a firm and long-lasting erection, allowing for a much better sexual experience.

The active ingredient dapoxetine (for more information on the active ingredient, see the article on Dapoxetine) belongs to selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and helps prolong the duration of sexual intercourse.

Dosage and Administration

The usual recommended single dose is half a tablet once daily. After consulting with a doctor, it is possible to increase the dosage to 1 tablet once every 24 hours.

Tadapox should be taken 30-60 minutes before sexual intercourse, and its effect can last for up to 36 hours. Tadapox is not an aphrodisiac. Sexual stimulation is necessary to achieve the intended effect.

Tadapox should be taken before or after a meal. Tadapox should not be combined with alcohol and fatty meals. It is strongly recommended to avoid consuming grapefruit or grapefruit juice while taking the medication.

Contraindications

You must not take Tadapox 80 mg if:

• you are allergic to tadalafil, dapoxetine, or any other component of this medication
• you have recently had a stroke, heart attack, or if you have low or high blood pressure
• you take nitrates (such as nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate), nitric oxide donors (such as amyl nitrite)
• you are taking medications for angina pectoris (such as Nitrates or Nitric Oxide)
• you have another serious heart condition, moderate or severe liver or kidney impairment
• you have a rare eye disorder (such as retinitis pigmentosa) or you have experienced vision loss due to non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION)
• you take riociguat (for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension)
• take alpha-blockers used for high blood pressure or to treat urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia
• you have bipolar disorder or depression
• you have seizures
• you have psychosis
• if you have fainted in the past
• you take protease inhibitors for the treatment of AIDS or HIV infection
• you already take another medication for erectile dysfunction.

Warning

Consult your doctor before starting to take medications containing tadalafil and/or dapoxetine if you have experienced:

• heart problems
• Peyronie's disease or any other deformity of the penis
• ulcer disease or bleeding disorders (such as hemophilia)
• intolerance to certain sugars (such as lactose)
• sickle cell anemia, leukemia, or multiple myeloma

The concurrent use of Tadapox with any other medications, whether prescription or over-the-counter, requires approval from your treating doctor, especially if you are taking Erythromycin, Cimetidine, or Ketoconazole.

Possible side effects of the medication

During the use of medications based on sildenafil and dapoxetine, side effects may occur. They are usually mild and of short duration. The most commonly reported side effects include headache, nausea, gastrointestinal discomfort, facial flushing, hot flashes, visual disturbances (blurred vision or so-called blue vision), stuffy nose, dry mouth, and dizziness.

Important warning

If you experience sudden deterioration of vision, worsening of hearing, blood in urine, cloudy urine, or an erection lasting longer than 4 hours, especially if it is not caused by sexual stimulation and is accompanied by pain, seek medical help immediately.

Seek medical help immediately in case of any unusual reaction or sudden worsening of your health condition associated with the use of the medication. Also, if common side effects persist for an extended period.

Storage

Store at temperatures below 30°C. Keep in the original packaging. Protect from moisture. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use after the expiration date.
