Active Ingredient

Dosage and Administration

The usual initial single dose is 60 mg. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 120 mg (1 tablet).

Cobra 120 should be taken 30-60 minutes before sexual intercourse and its effect lasts for 4-6 hours. Cobra 120 is not an aphrodisiac. Sexual stimulation is necessary to achieve the effect.

It is not advisable to combine Cobra 120 with alcohol, fatty foods, grapefruit, or grapefruit juice.

Contraindications

• take nitrates (such as nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate), nitric oxide-releasing drugs (such as isoamyl nitrite)
• take medication for angina pectoris (such as nitrates or nitric oxide donors)
• suffer from another serious heart or liver condition
• have a rare retinal disorder (such as retinitis pigmentosa) or have vision loss due to non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION)
• take riociguat (used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension)
• already take another medication for erectile dysfunction

Warning:

Consult your doctor before starting to take medications containing sildenafil if you have:

• heart problems
• Peyronie's disease or another penis deformity
• ulcer disease or bleeding problems (such as hemophilia)
• intolerance to some sugars (such as lactose)
• sickle cell anemia, leukemia, or multiple myeloma
• HIV (especially when treated with protease inhibitors)

If you have a liver or kidney disorder, inform your doctor about this fact. They will assess whether dosage adjustment is necessary. The usual initial dose in such cases is 25 mg per day.

Current use of Cobra 120 mg with other medications requires approval from your treating physician, especially if you are taking Erythromycin, Cimetidine, or Ketoconazole.

Possible side effects of the medication

During the use of sildenafil-based medications, side effects may occur. They are usually mild and short-lived. The most commonly occurring side effects include headache, nausea, digestive problems, facial flushing, hot flashes, vision disturbances (blurred or "blue" vision), stuffy nose, and dizziness.

Important notice
