Basic information about Lovegra 100 mg

Lovegra 100 mg is specially designed as the "Viagra for women" to enhance their sexual pleasure.

It contains the active ingredient sildenafil, which significantly improves blood flow to the genital area, promotes vaginal lubrication, and increases response to sexual stimulation.

Lovegra tablets are manufactured by Ajanta Pharma Limited, an Indian pharmaceutical company that also produces Kamagra, the most well-known Viagra alternative for men.

Active Ingredient

The active ingredient sildenafil citrate (for more information about the active ingredient, see the article on Sildenafil) significantly aids in the relaxation of smooth muscle in blood vessels and increases blood flow to the genital area. This leads to enhanced blood circulation in the vaginal area, labia, and clitoris, resulting in increased sensitivity in that region. It helps women experience more pleasurable sensations during sexual intercourse and facilitates easier achievement of orgasm.

Dosage and Administration

The usual initial single dose is 50 mg. Depending on the need and tolerability, it can be reduced to 25 mg or increased to a maximum of 100 mg in a single dose once daily. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 100 mg.

Lovegra should be taken 30-60 minutes before sexual intercourse and its effect lasts for 4-6 hours. Lovegra is not an aphrodisiac. Sexual stimulation is necessary to achieve the effect.

Lovegra should be taken either before or after a meal. It is not advisable to combine it with alcohol, fatty foods, grapefruit, or grapefruit juice.

Contraindications

You must not take Lovegra if you:

• are pregnant
• are allergic to sildenafil or any other component of this product
• have recently had a stroke, heart attack, or have low or high blood pressure
• take nitrates (such as nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate), nitric oxide-releasing drugs (such as isoamyl nitrite)
• take medication for angina pectoris (such as nitrates or nitric oxide donors)
• suffer from another serious heart or liver condition
• have digestive problems
• have a rare retinal disorder (such as retinitis pigmentosa) or have vision loss due to non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION)
• take riociguat (used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension)
• already take another medication for the treatment of genital blood circulation disorders

Warning

Consult your doctor before starting to take medications containing sildenafil if you have:

• heart problems
• ulcer disease or bleeding problems (such as hemophilia)
• intolerance to some sugars (such as lactose)
• sickle cell anemia, leukemia, or multiple myeloma
• HIV (especially when treated with protease inhibitors)

Current use of Lovegra 100 mg with other medications requires approval from your treating physician, especially if you are taking Erythromycin, Cimetidine, Ketoconazole, or protease inhibitors (ritonavir, saquinavir).

If you have a liver or kidney disorder, inform your doctor about this fact. They will assess whether dosage adjustment is necessary. The usual initial dose in such cases is 25 mg per day.

Possible side effects of the medication

During the use of sildenafil-based medications, side effects may occur. They are usually mild and short-lived. The most commonly occurring side effects include headache, nausea, digestive problems, facial flushing, hot flashes, chest pain, vision disturbances, photosensitivity, stuffy nose, and dizziness.

Important notice

If you experience a sudden worsening of vision or hearing, blood in urine, cloudy urine, heart arrhythmia, or a decrease in blood pressure accompanied by dizziness, seek immediate medical attention.

Also seek medical attention immediately for any unusual reactions or sudden worsening of your health in connection with the use of the medication. And if common side effects persist for an extended period.

Storage

Store at a temperature below 30°C. Keep in the original package. Protect from moisture. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
